Recruit from us

Each Sommet Education institution offers a balanced curriculum of practical training, business management skills and a multicultural experience to prepare our students for an international career in the fast-growing global hospitality industry.  We develop leaders, entrepreneurs, and the global confidence of our students through curricula tailored to ensure our graduates learn and adopt key qualities for professional success.

We help you find the right talents for your company

Our students are some of the most career-ready professionals you’ll find. They graduate with:

Soft business skills

Practical and group tasks help students develop soft business skills that ultimately leads to a strong sense of professionalism. In recognition of our students’ strong customer service skills, dedication to a team and ongoing flexibility, hospitality brands are being joined by companies from other sectors to recruit our graduates.

Multicultural skills and experience

Our students are culturally fluent, able to communicate and manage teams across time-zones, languages and cultures.

This is developed through our professional internship programs, transfer opportunities between LHE-affiliated schools and institutions, and the fact that all the schools have international student bodies.

Foundational and specialist knowledge

Our undergraduate and postgraduate programs offer a wide range of specializations, including: finance, marketing, events and entertainment, entrepreneurship, culinary arts, sustainability and innovation, management of spas, golf courses and resorts and spa and health management.

Industry-relevant knowledge

Each school has an advisory board composed of hospitality professionals who review our programs and specializations to ensure they reflect the rapidly evolving industry demands.

Practical and professional experience

Switzerland has a strong reputation in hospitality education. The Swiss hospitality model, delivered in all Les Roches and Glion schools, balances academic with experiential learning. The experiential learning component ranges from 8 to 20 weeks, depending on the school.

The professional internship experience (total minimum one year) amplifies and reinforces these skills to develop the students’ confidence and capabilities.

Leadership abilities

LHE students learn to lead at any level, in any function, in any sized organization.

We expose our students to practical leadership experiences and nurture their development through a continual leadership mentoring process.

University-accredited degrees

In order to maintain the highest possible educational standards, our institutions have international accreditation, recognition, quality assurance certifications and professional memberships with various organizations worldwide, such as the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, USA (NEASC).
