Attract & develop new talents in the
hospitality sector

Our Reason to Be

All people, irrespective of sex, age, race, colour, ethnicity, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, or birth, as well as persons with disabilities, migrants, indigenous people, children, and youth, especially those in vulnerable situations or other status, should have access to inclusive, equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities.

UN Sustainable Goal Development 4 - Quality Education

Drawing on Sommet Education's long-standing commitment to developing tomorrow's leaders, the Sommet Education Foundation is working to revitalize the hospitality industry and offer life-changing opportunities to a new generation of talent relying on its global network of schools and portfolio of programs.

Joining Forces for a more hospitable world

It’s time to join forces and make a difference by attracting and training new talents in the hospitality industry. At the Sommet Education Foundation, we share our passion for hospitality with talented people from disadvantaged backgrounds and in vulnerable situations. Following the framework of United Nations Sustainable Development Goal number 4 – helping them thrive as they pursue education at our renowned institutions and giving them access to job opportunities with leading companies across the world.

The two pillars
of our action

PILLAR 1

We finance education for talents from disadvantaged backgrounds and in vulnerable situations, giving them access to top-notch hospitality education and changing the course of their lives.

Thanks to the Foundation, they are able to take part in bachelor, master, professional hospitality and discovery programs at our institutions – propelling their careers to the next level.

PILLAR 2

We promote the richness and diversity of Hospitality Careers.
We identify the levers to be activated to promote these professions, attract new talents and retain employees.

The Indian Talent Initiative

The Foundation can already count on Accor as a Founding Patron. The hospitality group has committed to promoting talent development, fostering social equality, and bolstering economic growth through its first dedicated initiative in India.

Signed in April 2024, "The Indian Talent Initiative" will see the Sommet Education Foundation and Accor sponsor 16 deserving individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds to enrol in ISH's Intensive Culinary Arts Programme and Intensive Pastry and Bakery Programme. Each intake will consist of 5 to 6 students, with the program scheduled to commence in August 2024, followed by subsequent intakes in January 2025 and January 2026.

These programs are designed to fast-track culinary careers and will incorporate a three-month on-the-job immersion at Accor, followed by pre-qualified employment contracts that assure 100% employability for the students.
